This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected, used, and disclosed by Independent Living Sudbury Manitoulin. This policy covers all operations of our organization, including our website, social media channels, and all programs and services we offer. It also applies to all employees, volunteers, and Board Members.
ILSM may collect personal information such as name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and health information in order to provide services to our members. ILSM will only collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purposes that have been identified to you, unless we have obtained your consent to use it for another purpose. We will obtain consent from individuals before collecting their personal information. ILSM will not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.
ILSM takes reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We have implemented physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information from loss, theft, and misuse.
ILSM retains personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. We take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information when it is no longer required.

Individuals who have concerns about the way ILSM handles their personal information may contact our Executive Director to discuss their concerns. We will investigate all complaints and take appropriate measures to address any privacy concerns.
